Are you an enthusiastic, proactive individual who is great at building relationships and is passionate about writing?
We seek a confident, highly motivated and articulate experienced trust fundraiser to expand and develop income for the charity. A substantial part of the role will be generating income for the Charity by writing effective applications to grant funders.
Based/Location: 46 The Half Croft Syston, Leicester LE7 1LD
Salary: £22,200 per annum (Pro-rata £13,320)
Hours: 22.5 hours per week (Flexible)
Responsible to: General Manager
Liaison with: Fellow colleagues, a large number of volunteers, grant funders, African partner health units, health professionals and the wider community
Flexibility: In order to work effectively in this environment, the post holder must be flexible as sometimes there will be a need to answer general telephone/ email enquiries due to staff holidays and sickness. Any other tasks that may be required will be at the same terms and conditions of employment.
Experience required: One year minimum work experience in a similar field.
