Sierra Leone has been declared free from Ebola disease after 42 days without a case.

During the Ebola outbreak in Sierra Leone which tragically claimed the lives of almost 4,000 people, Inter Care began sending emergency aid to another four health units in the country, in addition to the two we had already been supporting. This aid was over and above the aid we regularly send to Sierra Leone, and included painkillers, antibiotics, protective gloves, overshoes, aprons and wipes, to help tackle this devastating outbreak.
