You may notice that our logo looks a little different. Our signature orange has temporarily stepped aside and been replaced with a whole lot of green.
But why..?
Because in the run‑up to Earth Day 2026 on the 22nd April, Inter Care is celebrating the environmental impact at the heart of our mission. Every year, large amounts of perfectly usable medical supplies go to waste in the UK. These supplies are surplus, high‑quality, and desperately needed elsewhere.

We give these supplies a second life in sub‑Saharan Africa and reduce unnecessary waste in the UK, cutting the environmental footprint of healthcare, and ensuring that valuable resources are used to support patient care rather than being discarded prematurely.
Now we’re inviting you to join us by going green and helping raise awareness of this vital work – while having fun at the same time!

Whether you organise a community group fundraiser or arrange a collection of medical items to be sent to Africa however you choose to “go green” is entirely up to you. Get creative, get colourful, and help us shine a light on greener healthcare. We can’t wait to see your photos!
While you’re going green, be sure to make a donation to support Inter Care’s work. Every donation helps us send more surplus, high‑quality medical supplies to rural clinics: reducing waste and protecting the planet.
Over the past decade
Inter Care has diverted
106,027 kg
of quality medical supplies from becoming premature waste.
