PLEASE NOTE – WE ARE UNABLE TO ACCEPT ANY MEDICINES FROM THE COMMUNITY INCLUDING GP SURGERIES AND HOSPITALS.
Please check the following sample list of medical items that we can accept before sending your donation to us.
All donations we can accept must be sealed and need at least 12 months left to their expiry date.
- First Aid Items – Bandages, dressings, plasters, foil blankets, gauze, surgical tape, tourniquets
- Catheters and accessories (no stoma/leg bags)
- Skin Wipes (wet and dry – non alcohol)
- Toiletries – maternity/sanitary pads, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, travel size body wash
- Small surgical instruments – Scalpels, scissors, tweezers
- Health Care accessories – Bed linen (flat sheets only), measuring cups and spoons, sharps bins, towels, weighing scales (adult and baby)
- Medical devices and equipment – blood pressure machines, laboratory equipment, nebulisers and accessories, pulse oximeters, stethoscopes, digital thermometers
- Medical books – BNF adult and child (editions up to two years old only), MMS (editions up to 1 year old), medical text books

Sending your donation to Inter Care
As a small charity we cannot cover the costs of shipping and any donation made towards this is greatly appreciated. If you are able to cover the cost of sending the supplies to us, we would be happy to accept them.

If you would like us to acknowledge safe receipt of your items, then please ensure that you include your contact name and details such as an email address so that we can contact you. Please note, it usually takes 2-3 weeks for us to acknowledge safe receipt.
